TREE PROGRAM UPDATE #4

What has been going on with the tree program in Greenhills? 

• Tree pruning and some removals continue throughout the Village.
• Comprehensive work in the “H” block begins NEXT WEEK.
• Our Arborist has completed the annual assessment of all trees in the Village, and identified a number of trees for removal or pruning that we will be following up on in the next few months.
• A more intense assessment of the trees in the B-block is underway and may take a few weeks to complete.
• The entire route of the Red, White & Blue Parade has been clear-pruned.

The pathway at the new park has been completed! The pathway is just one piece of the Plan that is an exciting concept the Village is implementing.  The concept calls for a natural prairie habitat surrounded by lawns, overlook points, a “natural” amphitheater, community gardens, and more!  This will also be the home to our Veterans Memorial and Honor Path.
